This was the Day 12 of a "12 Days of Christmas" art series I did last December. I had always wanted to do one, but usually put it off. This past year, I actually accomplished it.
The other eleven days were all different fandom characters, but it seemed only fitting that the final picture went to the people who are like family to me.
Starting with the blonde in purple, going clock wise:
Kris: I've probably been friends with her the shortest amount of time--we really started hanging out senior year...But she's part of the core group of girls that I hang out with at UConn, so I'd like to think we've gotten closer over the years. We're Starbucks/Vivanno/cuddle buddies...She basically lived in my dorm last year because her roomie was never around and her and Jenny shared a mutual love of movies and TV shows haha. She's hilarious when she's tired, too :)
Amy L: She is probably the sweetest person in the world, and I can always count on her to be up for a movie night or concert. She is an angel for visiting me at Sylvan and making it less boring, and I need to hang out with her more up at school.
Bryanna: I started hanging out with her more thanks to the high school swim team, where we were co-captains senior year. She's hysterical, and I'm so glad she works at the gym up at school too. She's so confident and outgoing and will talk to anyone.
Jenny: My roomie sophomore year and the person I talk to most online. This girl is amazing, hilarious, and just so classy. She has introduced me to the best TV shows ever, including Burn Notice and Leverage. Her goals are to marry rich, marry multiple times, and not have any kids haha. She's the best.
Ray: My Ray-gala is sooo sweet, and the funniest person I know. He's the gay best friend anyone could hope for, and I hate that he goes to school so far away in Albany. :( He's the life of our party, and whenever he comes back to town, we have some crazy fun times.
Amy Chev: This girl is absolutely brilliant. She was our valedictorian and is probably majoring in something sciency. We roomed together in France and were joint editors of the yearbook senior year. It's been wayyy too long since I've last seen her.
Aman: She moved to Chicago before our sophomore year of high school, and had us all out to visit that year. Now she lives in Texas, but is coming back to visit this summer, which I can't wait for since it's been like 4 years. :)
Monica: She is the epitome of cool Boston style, which is where she's living and working for the summer (sucks, but she does come home to visit fairly frequently). She's both quiet and sarcastic, which means hanging out with her is guaranteed to be entertaining. Along with Jess, she's one of the first best friends I've ever had.
In the center, left to right:
Steph: She was my roomie freshman year, and I miss living with her. She's crazy, hilarious, and full of energy. It's completely normal for her to burst out into song in public places, and she always has a good story to tell. She's tough, despite her short stature, and doesn't take any crap. She's also a touch evil, and has dreams of ruling the world some day.
Me
Jess: I'm rooming with her this coming school year along with two other girls in an apartment. She introduces me to the best music--she got me into Jonas Brothers, showed me Busted, and got me absolutely hooked on McFly. She's hyper and her clumsiness tends to get herself and other people (coughMEcough), but she's so much fun. She's also a hardcore Twilight addict and just really fun to be around.
